St. John's Prayer Chain
The prayer chain at St. John's is an active ministry of about 100 people praying for requests that are brought to our attention. The requests are gathered each week and sent by email, so if you would like to be part of this ministry, all you need to do is send your email address to

to be added to our list of "pray-ers". There are many requests each week, and all we ask is that you take the time to pray for each one as it comes to you.
If you have a prayer request and are wondering how to get it on the prayer chain, you can write it on the yellow prayer concern cards during worship, call the church office at 618.656.1853 or email Pastor Sheryl at

Living Prayer Center
In addition to submitting prayer requests to the St. John’s prayer chain, you may also submit a prayer request online to The Upper Room’s Living Prayer Center. Your request will be e-mailed to the Prayer Center, offered for prayer at The Upper Room Chapel, and sent out to Upper Room Covenant Prayer Groups, too.
