The Church Left the Building!

Christ's hands and feet were very evident in our community on October 11th! We had nearly 90 people participate in our "Be the Church" ”service day. Crews were busy in several places:

  • At the Glen Ed Pantry pruning rose bushes and trees and cleaning up the yard area.
  • Collecting food in neighborhoods around town. We collected over 1,100 lbs. of food!
  • Sorting and packing the collected food at the church and delivering it to the Pantry.
  • Dismantling an above ground pool, installing lattice-work, removing a great amount of brush and trees, and painting and installing baseboards at a home in Edwardsville. 
  • Playing bingo with the residents at a neighboring nursing home.

God has greatly blessed St. John's....
                      What a joy it is to see those blessings overflow into our community
