This Sunday, May 3, is St. John's annual Bread for the World "Offering of Letters." Each year at this time we advocate for nutrition programs with our members of Congress on behalf of our hungry neighbors. As followers of Jesus and citizens who have a say in our government's policies, we remain focused on ending hunger in our country and around the world. We will have letters ready for you to sign, but your added, personal, human touch makes a difference. The hope is to present our signed letters during worship on May 10, The letter will be delivered either by mail or personally at Bread for the World's annual Lobby Day in Washington.
